Photography Exhibition Changing Lenses: Glasgow Stories Of Integration
The launch of Migrant Voice’s photography exhibition, Changing Lenses, Glasgow stories of integration.
This exhibition is the culmination of our ‘Changing Lenses, Glasgow stories of integration project’: a selection of outstanding photographs by 27 Glasgow-based participants from 24 countries, charting the newcomers' and host communities' experiences of integration and living together in Glasgow.
Photographs were brought together in this exhibition which features work made as part of the Changing Lenses project which delivered a number of workshops and discussions by the photographers Karen Gordon and Robin Mitchell, the Turner Prize artist Duncan Campbell, the writers Ruskin Gammon and Samina Chaudhry and the filmmaker Amparo Fortuny.
This exhibition was presented at Glasgow Centre for Contemporary Arts and featured the publication of a book capturing the stories and imagines of the Changing Lenses: Glasgow Stories of Integration project, designed by Vasileios Sempsis and Barbara Vecchione
