Daily Star publishes new story about international students injustice
On 14 June, The Daily Star, a leading newspaper in Bangladesh, published a second article about the injustice faced by thousands of international students wrongly accused of cheating on an English test by the Home Office in 2014. (Read the earlier article here.)
Journalist Maliha Khan spoke to Farzana Boby and MV member Sheikh Shariful Amin about their experiences. Both stressed the problem of untrustworthy agents who dupe foreign students, as well as the issue of the wrongful allegations that have left them stripped of their rights for the last five years.
