International students issue discussed in Jolyon Rubinstein podcast
In a podcast published on 23 May, hip hop artist Lowkey, comedian Sophie Duker and actor and writer Jolyon Rubinstein discussed the international student scandal as part of a conversation about immigration and institutional racism in the UK.
The discussion was part of a weekly podcast series, “We Need To Talk About…”, hosted by Jolyon Rubinstein.
“This accusation of cheating… (which) doesn’t seem to be substantiated in many cases, has put people’s lives on hold,” said Sophie Duker. “They’ve spent tens of thousands on their education, they’ve given up loads to be there.”
