London Live reports from international student demonstration

London Live came down to the demonstration at Parliament on 24 January 2019, where we and dozens of international students wrongly accused of cheating were calling on the government to take action.

They spoke to two of the students affected and our Director, Nazek Ramadan.

Raja explained how 15 to 20 immigration officers arrived at his home at 5:45am one morning in June 2015. They arrested him and told him he had cheated on his English test, whiche he hadn't.

"We are struggling... We are stuck in this country," says Fatima. "Why did we come here? We came for a better future. Is this our future?"
