Media Lab trailed on Birmingham news site
On 17 February 2020, news site I Am Birmingham published an article about an upcoming Media Lab in Birmingham, where former BBC and Al Jazeera journalist Hasan Patel will train migrants from across the West Midlands.
“Telling the human story is so powerful," Patel said. "Sadly the stories of refugees and migrants has been eschewed due to political reasons and agendas. This session will provide an opportunity for people to take control of their story by making people think what and how best to craft a story and what platforms they can use to tell their story.”
