Migrant Voice director quoted in Birmingham Live

On Wednesday 14 December, following the capsizing of a small boat in the Channel and the death of at least four people, our director Nazek Ramadan was quoted in the Birmingham Live saying: "While all the facts are yet to emerge, what we do know is that this was a preventable disaster where the blame lies directly at the feet of the government.

"Instead of political posturing and devising plots to deport refugees, this government could have put their time and effort into creating safe and legal routes to make sure no more people die at sea."
