Migrant Voice director quoted in Dazed on new illegal immigration bill

On 12 April 2023 our director Nazek Ramadan was quoted in Dazed talking about the impact of the controversial "Illegal Immigration Bill" on asylum seekers.

Nazek said the Bill would push vulnerable people into dangerous situations. She said: "By denying people seeking safety the right to seek asylum because of how they arrived, and in particular preventing modern slavery victims from being able to be recognised as such, this government is all but ensuring that more people end up being preyed upon by gangs."
