On 27 June, the day when a group of the international students wrongly accused of cheating delivered a letter to the Home Office, signed by more than 100 of them, Migrant Voice Director Nazek Ramadan spoke to BBC Asian Network about the scandal and why the students wrote the letter.
“Given all the repeated calls for [the Home Secretary] to issue a statement, the statement has been delayed and delayed, and the students decided they needed to write personally, directly, to him themselves, this personal approach, because he is their last hope.”
