MV member Lewin makes front page of Birmingham Mail
On 28 August, the Birmingham Mail published a front page spread on MV member Lewin Williams' campaign to stay in the UK. A petition set up by Migrant Voice calling for Lewin to stay in the UK received more than 60,000 signatures in one month.
Lewin, 74, is battling cancer and won't be able to afford medical treatment if he is deported to Jamaica.
Birmingham Network Worker Salman Mirza told Birmingham Mail: "I feel over the moon, I'm really glad, god bless them."
