On 1 May, the Guardian published another story in their series about the international students fighting to clear their names after being wrongly accused of cheating on an English test by the Home Office five years ago.

Amelia Gentleman interviewed Raja Noman Hussain about the allegation against him and the impact on his life.

"His father has asked him not to come back until he has proved his innocence," wrote Amelia. "“My dad has told me: ‘You are not welcome to my home if you come with these allegations.’ He says: ‘The UK has the best justice system. If you haven’t done anything wrong, then go and prove yourself in court, then I can tell my friends and family that my son is innocent.’” So far this has not been possible.""
