MV speaks to Morning Star about Status Now campaign
On 11 July, the Morning Star published an article about the launch of the Status Now campaign, calling on the Government to give leave to remain to all undocumented migrants and those in the legal process so that everyone can keep themselves safe during the Covid-19 pandemic.
MV Director Nazek Ramadan spoke to the journalist for the article:
“This is a humanitarian crisis and everyone — regardless of whether they have documents or not — must be treated as a human being in need. Everyone deserves the right to live a dignified life.”
