15 February: The Guardian covers Migrant Voice’s work with the students to get a drama made to raise awareness of the injustice face by the many affected by the English language test cheating allegation.
Nazek Ramadan said: “This is a huge injustice that most people still don’t know about. Thousands of students, young men and women who came here in good faith, had their lives ruined. We want people to empathise and support them. What they went through must be documented.”
Also quoted were one of the students, Navjot Kaur, and Patrick Lewis, a barrister with Garden Court chambers, representing many of the students.
