PIE News reports on latest detentions of international students
On 20 February, Claudia Civinini from PIE News reported on the latest development in the Home Office scandal relating to the international students wrongly accused of cheating and living in limbo since 2014.
She quotes Amin, one of the student leaders of the campaign, our Director Nazek Ramadan, and Stephen Timms MP, all of whom are concerned about the recent overnight detention of one student and attempted detainment of a second.
“We clearly demand to the Secretary of State that removal and detention must be stopped against all students until they have finished their legal battle,” said Amin.
