On 5 April, Sky News reported that a number of UK charities are calling for an urgent review of immigration fees. Reporter Bethan Staton used Migrant Voice's briefing on the issue, written as a result of many conversations with our members and published in reponse to a report by the Independent Chief Inspector of Borders and Immigration on 4 April.
She used MV's calculation of the cost of achieving citizenship for a family of four, and continued: "The charity have reported cases of the fee costs pushing families into destitution or parents being forced to pay for citizenship for one child while another loses their legal status."
