We’ve teamed up with Outdoors for You, another migrant-led organisation, to take our members on a tour showcasing the city centre’s murals. It's a great opportunity to see work by local and international artists.

Thursday 13 April, 10.30 am - 12 pm

We will meet in front of the Lion statues in George Square, please bring water and comfy shoes. We will finish the tour at Garnethill Multicultural Centre where tea, coffee, and soup will be on offer alongside conversations about cultural heritage and life. This tour has been made possible thanks to the funds from the Glasgow Health and Social Care Partnership.

Join our co-creation workshop ‘We are Living Heritage, and we share World Heritage’ with Hsiao-Chiang Wang (Hope).

Thursday 13 April, 5.30 - 8 pm

21 Rose Street, G3 6RE Glasgow

This workshop is designed to guide Migrant Voice members in the discovery of the heritage in their life journey and in greater understanding of some fundamental topics, including cultural rights, heritage, and interpretation. It is done with the hope that this workshop will benefit individuals to realise their influence as a migrant and help them to contribute to relevant Migrant Voice projects, such as Putting Ourselves in the Picture. The workshop follows the principles of participatory action research (PAR) and adopts creative methods of delivery.

After several consultation sessions, we have gathered a selection of ideas for our upcoming photography and illustration exhibitions portraying migrants' experiences, heritage and contributions. The themes range from experiences of the immigration system, through language and communication, to traditions. Join our Vision Group to make final decisions on these themes and get hands-on involved in bringing them to life. Made possible by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

Thursday 27 April, 5.30 - 8 pm
