There’s a general election on 12 December and we want you to make your voice heard. To help with that, we’re running a training session on Thursday 14 November where you can find out how to best speak to your local candidates about the migration issues that matter to you.
This could be the hostile environment, extortionate visa fees, the rights of EU nationals, the injustice facing thousands of international students, or another issue where you want to see change. At the session, we’ll be developing key messages and clear asks that you can put to your local candidates, either at a public meeting in your local area, or when campaigners come to your doorstep.
We want as many of you as possible to take this opportunity to tell the UK’s future MPs about the problems migrants are facing and encourage them to be a voice for migrants in Parliament if they are elected.
Come along to our London office (200a Pentonville Road, N1 9JP) on Thursday 14 November, 5-7pm to discuss and plan the questions we want to ask the candidates.
We will run two identical sessions at 5-6pm and 6-7pm – you only need to attend one.
