Migrant Voice is thrilled to invite you to the opening event for Outside In - our photography exhibition about how migrants bring the world to Scotland!
Join us to see the exhibition and celebrate the people from across the globe portrayed in it. They have made Scotland their home, and enrich the country with their traditions, skills, and ideas.
We hope Outside In becomes a source of pride and expands visitors’ knowledge of the many ways in which migrants make Scotland more vibrant, sustainable, healthier, and fairer for all. This is a perfect way for us to mark International Migrants’ Day.

We look forward to welcoming you there. You’ll get a chance to mingle over refreshments with the project team, photographers, and those portrayed in the exhibition. You will also get to hear from a variety of speakers and enjoy performances by migrant artists.
This exhibition is part of the Putting Ourselves in the Picture project, which aims to ensure that migrant heritage is documented and recognised as part of Scotland’s heritage. We’re grateful to the National Lottery Heritage Fund for making this project possible with their generous funding, and to everyone who contributed their time, skills, and knowledge to bring this exhibition to life.
