London Communities safe space - Responding to hate

Migrant Voice, in partnership with Islington Refugee & Migrant Forum (IRMF), is holding a discussion, London Communities Safe Space - Responding to Hate, on 1 October, 12–4pm at Voluntary Action Islington, 200A Pentonville Road, London N1 9JP.

We’ll be talking about the rise in hate crime, far-right activity and increasingly hostile rhetoric towards migrants and refugees, and what migrant and refugee groups and individuals are seeing in their communities.

It is a scary time for those who are marginalised and we’d like to hear how this is affecting the people you support, whether you’ve noticed any changes, what you think needs to be done, and how we can work together on practical responses. The session will be informal and discussion-based, with lunch provided.
