In this session, we'll look at the lessons learned from the 'Nas must stay' campaign. You'll learn how you can advocate for your own rights and build your own successful campaign.
Nas Popalzai spent 10 years fighting to stay in the UK after arriving here from Afghanistan as an unaccompanied child asylum seeker. Last year he decided to collectivize his struggle and get the community involved. He now has his refugee status.
Nas will share his experiences of his successful strategy and we will learn from his campaign and start developing ideas for our new media campaign on the high cost of visa fees and other important issues.
Learn how to start a petition, get community involvement, make a video, produce leaflets and speak to the media about your migration case or issue.
