Migrant Voice is organising a Media Lab training workshop in Birmingham on 25 March
Recognised journalists, media and communication professionals will lead the sessions to help us get more migrant voices heard in the media.
Migrants, refugees and asylum seekers living in Birmingham, please join us to learn media skills and tell your stories.
Venue: Migrant Voice, Saathi House, 49 Bevington Road, Aston, Birmingham B6 6HR
Date: Monday 25 March, 2019. Time: 12pm to 5pm.
Programme:
12:00: Welcome & registration
12:30 - 2:30: First session: How to use cameras and mobile phones to create, edit and share your stories with visual impact on social media.

2:30 - 3:00 Lunch break
2:40 - 4:30: Second session: How to use video cameras and mobile phones to have a voice in a digital world and have your stories told.

The two sessions are independent of each other and it is possible to attend only one of them.
This is a free training with free refreshments. Bus passes will be refunded for those unwaged.
