International Migrants Day is coming up soon and to prepare for this, we are organising a Media Lab in Coventry on 25 November 2019 from 10am to 5pm at CRMC, Norton House, Bird Street, Coventry, CV1 5FX.
Award-winning journalist Adam Smith aka Steve Zacharanda will lead our Media Lab training to help us get our messages across in letters to the editor and other formats for International Migrants Day. Adam Smith has written for regional and national newspapers including recently The Metro.
Migrants, refugees, asylum seekers, and Britons living in Coventry - please join us to create messages for celebrating International Migrants Day.
10:00am - 11:00am: Welcome, registration & refreshments
11:00am - 1:00pm: Part I of training
1:00pm - 2:00pm: LUNCH BREAK (Lunch will be provided)
2:00pm - 4:00pm: Part II – Training continued and finalising messages for International Migrants Day 2019
4:00pm - 5:00pm: Wind down, finishing off International Migrants Day messages, evaluations, socialising
(Equipment will be provided, you do not need to bring anything with you but you are more than welcome to bring along your phones and also use these if you’d like. There will be WiFi.)
