 Migrant Voice - Coventry Media Lab

Migrant Voice is organising a special Media Lab training workshop in Coventry on Monday 29 April 2019.

Recognised journalists, media and communication professionals will lead MV Media Lab training sessions to help represent migrant voices in the media.
Asylum seekers, refugees and migrants living in Coventry, please join us to learn skills that will make your voices heard.

12:00pm: Welcome and registration
12:30pm - 2:30pm: Session 1 - How to use photo cameras and mobile phones to visually create, edit and share your stories with impact on social media 
(Photography and social media skills workshop with documentary photographer Inès Elsa Dalal)
2:30pm - 3:00pm: Lunch break
3:00pm - 5:00pm: Session 2 - How to use video cameras and mobile phones  to have a voice in a digital world and to have your stories told 
(Video broadcast and interview skills workshop with journalist Vimal Korpal)
 
Venue: Coventry Refugee and Migrant Centre, Norton House, Bird St, Coventry CV1 5FX.

The sessions are free. 
Free food & refreshments will also be provided.
