Migrant Voice is organising a special Media Lab training workshop in Wolverhampton on Tuesday 30 July 2019.
International photojournalist and creative photographer Denise Maxwell of Lensi Photography will lead an MV Media Lab training session to help represent migrant voices in the media. Asylum seekers, refugees and migrants living in Wolverhampton, please join us to learn skills that will make your voices heard.
12:00pm: Welcome, registration & refreshments
12:30pm - 2:30pm: Part I - How to tell your personal migrant stories using photography
2:30pm - 3:00pm: LUNCH BREAK (Lunch will be provided)
3:00pm - 5:00pm: Part II - Capturing your own photographs and creating a visual medium for documenting your migrant stories and experiences
(Equipment will be provided, you do not need to bring anything with you but you are more than welcome to bring along your phones and also use these if you’d like.)
