Our new campaign to tackle rouge immigration solicitors

We launched our new campaign, to tackle rogue immigration solicitors and call on regulators for practical measures to make lawyers more accountable, on October 19th, in Birmingham. 

The event was attended by Shabana Mahmood MP, activists, lawyers and migrants from a range of backgrounds to discuss the issue of rogue migration solicitors and the impact they have had on people's lives. 

Following lengthy discussions, key campaign actions were determined to address the problems faced by many migrants that include, working with the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC), campaigning for the restoration of legal aid, campaigning for regional public bodies to take the issue seriously.
