On the 31 December 2024 eVisas will replace physical proof of immigration status for those who still have them.
This shift has caused numerous concerns for individuals and organisations. Widespread issues have been identified with the roll-out, which could risk leaving some people lacking proof of their status.
In response to this, the government has said that expired physical proof will be accepted until March for the purposes of travel.
