On 26 April, The Guardian published another article, again written by Amelia Gentleman, addressing the devastation faced by international students who were wrongly accused of cheating by the Home Office.
“I feel insulted and humiliated," said Bibi Rahima, one of the affected students. "I’ve worked, I’ve finished my studies, and then this comes up. It is inhuman. It has been almost three years – I can’t work, I can’t travel. I feel like my life is just a prison, everything has completely stopped."
Migrant Voice has been working closely with Amelia Gentleman since early 2019 on this story, and continues to do so.
