On 23 March, BBC Midlands Today featured a news clip covering an exhibition at Ikon Gallery, featuring seventeen portraits of Migrant Voice members taken by the renowned photographer Vanley Burke. The exhibition is a collaboration between Ikon Gallery, Migrant Voice and Birmingham University.
Migrant Voice members and director Nazek Ramadan were quoted in the news clip.
"This is our way of getting people to come and know us," Nazek told BBC Midlands Today. "Come and see who we are, come and see our stories, come and learn about us."
The A Gift to Birmingham exhibition will run until 3 April and is free to attend.
The showcase is in the Events Room on the second floor of Ikon Gallery, 1 Oozells St, Birmingham, B1 2HS. The gallery is open 11am-5pm Tuesday-Sunday.
