On February 9, a BBC Newsnight investigation revealed new evidence that is a huge boost for our #MyFutureBack campaign.
The investigation found evidence that the data used by the Home Office to remove thousands of students from the UK based on allegations of cheating was seriously flawed. It further questions why the Home Office continued taking actions against the students knowing there were issues with the evidence.
Two MV members, Raja Noman Hussain (Nomi) and Shakil Rathmore were interviewed for the programme.
MV director Nazek Ramadan told BBC Newsnight: "We were the last hope. We are not talking about a few students, we are talking about tens of thousands, they were devastated. I mean they were at the end of the line, this was it for them. Many of them were on medication to stop them killing themselves."
