On 2 and 3 May, two local East London newspapers covered the story of the injustice facing tens of thousands of international students who were accused of cheating by the Home Office five years ago.

The Ilford Recorder and Newham Recorder both spoke to local MPs, who are supporting our My Future Back campaign.

“There were some people abusing the immigration system but lots of genuine people have been caught up in the middle of this,” Mike Gapes MP told the Ilford Recorder.

“Their whole status in this country has been curtailed on the basis of guilty until proven innocent. It's outrageous.”
