MV Ambassador tells her story to Economy

On 4 August, MV Ambassador Althia Barnett told her story in an article for the charity Economy, which covered her journey to the UK and finding her community in Birmingham.

Althia also discussed media training she took part in, which was provided by Migrant Voice, and how this gave her a whole new skillset.

"Due to the Migrant Voice Media Lab and newsroom training, I have learnt various media skills ranging from social media training, photography, videography, blogging, interviewing techniques, editing skills, writing skills and interviewing skills," she wrote.
