Migrant Voice - MV Migrant Ambassador speaks to MyLondon about hate crimes against Asian Londoners

On 1 April, MyLondon published an article about the increase in racist attacks against Asian communities living in the capital. “We work with a lot of migrant community members [and] it’s been so challenging for them to report their cases, whether discrimination, racism or harassment at work, because of their status and the fear they have being migrants in the UK," Hayashi told MyLondon.

“We know people never report them.

"We try to educate [people] about third party reporting and reporting anonymously but the environment of fear does exist within our community toward authorities.”
