Please join us for our next migrant Media Lab training on Thursday November 30 10am till 2pm at Polish Expats Association, Centrala, Unit 4, Minerva Works, 158 Fazeley Street - Birmingham, B5 5RT

Speaking out has never been more important for migrants.
We have seen cuts in legal aid where people have to represent themselves in court. Negative coverage in the media continues, where the word “problem” is always attached to migration.

As an action from our last Network meeting in Birmingham - participants asked for training in how to speak out more confidently in public.

Come take part in our Media Lab workshop where we will be developing our skills and confidence in speaking out. 

Trainers include migrant campaigners/ activists who have experience in this field.

Covered in the training will includes developing ways to speak:

• in court

• with your solicitors 

• radio

• TV

• online

Training will include role play and speaking in front of others
