Migrant Voice - Have your voice heard – contribute to our multimedia platform and newspaper

We are inviting you to contribute to our ‘election-year’ Migrant Voice newspaper and multimedia platform.

This year we are reviving our Migrant Voice Newspaper and, through both an online platform and printed paper, we will be telling our own stories, as migrants, to tell the public and parliamentarians the priorities for migrants in this election year.

Taking inspiration from our pre-election special newspaper, which we produced in 2010 when we were first set up as an organisation, this year we will be sharing the issues most important to migrants with the public, the media and all the new parliamentarians.

Over the next few weeks we will come together in London, Birmingham and Glasgow to develop our story ideas. We will work on producing articles, photos, videos and podcasts to show and celebrate how migration is making Britain great through our stories and experiences. Our stories will cover a range of general interest topics including sports, arts, food, business, etc.

Through a series of interviews, articles and features, the multimedia platform and newspaper will also raise awareness of injustices and issues impacting migrants to set out our priorities for the new parliament. Our platform and newspaper will be launched for International Migrants Day 2024.

Come and join us if you

  • Have a migration story to tell
  • Want to raise awareness with the new parliament of a particular injustice
  • Want to help create articles/photos/videos/podcasts
  • Contribute ideas, share your skills and be part of our community
