London End of Year Event

We are delighted to invite you to our London End of Year Event:
12 December from 4:00-8:00pm at our London office, 200A Pentonville Road, London N1 9JP. 

This is an event to celebrate International Migrants Day, which is later this month, with a number of different activities:

Programme for 12 December: End of Year Celebration

4:00 pm: Arrival & refreshments

4:30 pm: Introduction to our Welcome Project and other works of Migrant Voice. 

From 4:00pm onward: Showcase from our Welcome Project

We celebrate the finish of our Welcome Project, which we have been running for the last few months. In this project we wanted to create and use messages of welcome to defy the current negative rhetoric and policies on migration. 

We used creative writing, photography and drama, to explore and create messages of welcome. 

As the work on the Welcome project has ended, we come together to celebrate and invite you to join us in viewing some of the photos and writing from the project.

5:00 - 7:00 pm  Training session - Letters to the editor

We will be running a training session on writing Letters to the Editor. This is part of our national activity to write and send letters of celebration and solidarity with migrants to be published on International Migrants Day, December 18.

7:00 - 8:00 pm Networking reception
