You are invited to join our media training session on interview skills for speaking out on visa fees. The same training session will be repeated twice so you can join us either on Thursday 7 April 5-6.30pm OR on Monday 11 April 11-12.30 via Zoom
The training sessions will cover how to prepare clear, concise ways to tell our messages and experiences in order to prepare for speaking to the media or on public platforms. We will explore:
- How to tell your story in the media - telling your story on your own terms
- How to make the most of interviews and public speaking
- Managing expectations and understanding your rights
- Practice telling your story
This training is for people affected by high visa costs who are interested in speaking out on the issue. Following the training, we can support with further mentoring.
The training session is to help us prepare for the launch of Migrant Voice’s report into the impact of extortionate visa costs. We are campaigning for a fairer immigration system by advocating for removing extortionate visa costs.
